Overall, it is the best Lego Star Wars game to date. It even allows you to progress through the story however you wish. It has more missions, more characters, and a better combat system. The game took the franchise to new heights as it offered more than its predecessors offered. LEGO ® Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the celebration of the entire saga where players can freely immerse themselves as they go on the legendary journey in a galaxy far, far away. If you are a fan of the Lego Star Wars series, LEGO® Star Wars™: The Skywalker Saga is a must-have. Finally, the game includes a Mumble Mode, allowing you to switch between the game's original voice-acting and the mumble and grunts that the older Lego video games offered. While in the hub, random encounters will appear, in which players have the option to engage or disengage. Like its predecessor, LEGO® Star Wars™: The Force Awakens, the game's hub will not be a single area but vast and fully-explorable planets. As noted, the game does not need to be completed in a linear order. There is also a new over-the-shoulder camera angle and expanded melee combat system to make it more engaging even for seasoned players. However, the combat has been revamped, allowing Lightsaber wielders to use a variety of combos. The basics of the game will be familiar for fans of the previous Lego games. Not only that, but you have 300 characters to choose from, allowing you to play as a Jedi, a Sith, a rebel, or a bounty hunter. Each episode will have five story missions, making a total of 45 levels. As mentioned, it allows players to play through all nine saga films. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available to pre-order now and will launch in less than one month on April 5. The digital Character Collection Edition also requires either a physical or digital copy of the game. It’s also worth noting that none of the Xbox digital download codes include any pre-order incentive available with some physical versions of the game, such as the Amazon and Walmart Classic Character Pack DLC. The digital download codes are currently only available for Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.

Whichever version players decide to purchase, they’ll be sent an email with a code for their digital copy of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga at a later date and the game will then be available to download and play from launch day. That’s a total of £61.98 for both codes, compared to £59.99 for the Deluxe Edition download code. The digital Standard Edition costs £49.99 / $59.99 and the digital Character Collection Edition is £11.99 (there’s no listing for the US version of that code so far).

However, this would be a much more expensive option than simply purchasing the digital download code for the Deluxe Edition of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which also includes the additional DLC.
